I have a 29g planted tank.
I currently have:
2 dwarf gouramis
8 cardinal tetras
2 otoclinus
I am planning on getting a school of about 5 corys today.
On top of the 5 corys and the list above, would I still have enough room for 6-8 more cardinals or rasboras?

As long as your filtration is good you should have no problem with that amount of fish. I would suggest adding the fish at different times to minimize the chances of a minicycle (cories this week - half the schooling fish next week - and the rest the week after) but other than that - go for it!

that is exactly what I plan on doing and I have a rena XP2, up to 75 gal. So even if you split that in half it is more than enough filtration for my tank.
Thanks robbie

I was pretty sure you had a real good filter- but I couldn't remember what it was - sounds perfect for what you want to do
Good Luck!

Now I just gotta decide if I want to get the corys or 6-8 more of whatever, I really want some more fish that are gunna swim around the whole tank so I might go with the cardinals or rasboras to fill the tank up.

Just got off the phone with the LFS, looks like I will be adding 5 rasboras and 2 albino corys for now......next week I will get a few more albinos and rasboras
