Hey I am new to this tank is just 8 weeks old. Got a pair of clowns 2 weeks ago and now the little one is chasing the big one. The big one is starting to look a little haggered. No way to seperate them any ideas.
Thanks Gary

If you can't put it in another tank, get a plastic jar, mabybe 2 or 3 times bigger then its size, poke some holes on it so the water can come in and go out, and put the fish inside and place the plastic jar inside. Leave it for a couple of days until she heals, then set her free and see if they are still fighting.

How big is your tank?
See if you can make some hidey-holes for them - maybe they need their own "space".

Clown Loaches are schooling fish, you should have a minimum of three, five would be better. Since they are schooling they need to form a pecking order and will show "fighting" diplays to see who's the boss. If you only have two then the dominant one will constantly pick on the same single fish, reason for needing more.
Of note, Clown Loaches get very large and require a tank that is 6' long minimum. This will take some time, a couple years. I had 5 Clown Loaches in a 120g and they out grew it. I bought a 300g!

He means regular clownfish - he has a salt water tank.
