How long does it take molly fry to grow??? I've had some fry for almost 2 months and i can tell theres been some change but not that much. I mainly want to know how long until i can keep it with the grown mollies in my other tank??

My molly fry grows really fast. I think that the fry should be at least half the size of the adult mollies until you can put them together.

Mine were probably the same, another month maybe and you can put them with the adults. How big are your adults?

around 2 inches i was gonna wait till they got a inch before putting them back in with the other mollies.

How about a breeding net so the others can get used to them?

Mollies need some time to grow. It takes my fry at least 3 to 4 months till they are big enough to be let out into the wild wild world.

It helps a lot to feed them 4 times a day, at least 2 water changes a week, and they need some space.

I keep my fry in a 54 litres tank, and still then they really need much time to grow.

4 times isn't overfeeding them??? Right now i'm feeding them every other day and im feeding them crushed flakes and occasionally brine shrimp.

If you want healthy growing fry, they practically have to swim in food. Therefore the more frequent waterchanges.

Just think of them as babies which want to grow and develop, they need lots of energy to do that.

Maybe thats the reason your fry doesnt grow properly.

A man at my local pet store said i should feed them every 3 days so ive been feeding them every other day after i had neon tetras who all got killed except one by my crayfish so i put it in there and i feed them every other day.
