5g stocking question

What are some other fish that you can put in a 5g tank besides a betta. Im thinking of putting in maybe 3 or 4 fish so I dont want just a single fish.

thats a good question. I would stear away from tetras becase most either get too big or need lots of swimming rom. Rasbora het. (harlequin rasboras) or some other small variety of rasbora would be nice. You could also get a few smaller livebearers such as swordtails, platties or guppies (but make sure they are all male!). A few smaller corydras would work too, but they are bottom feeders so you might find the top of your tank a little empty.

Cestestial Pearl Danios are really beautiful and very tiny. If you could find some captive breed ones that would be nice for a 5g.

I have a 5 gal hex and i've got 5 neons and 2 oto cats in there. They're a nice happy little family in there :) lol ((technically overstocked, but they do just fine....have plenty of room)

keep in mind that you can also do invertabrets in a 5 gallon. Red cherry shrimp are very nice as well.
