:14: DJ is a male and the BP is female. She chases him around maybe cause she is bigger , do ya think they can breed they are alone in a 55gal with a fluval 304. I want to raise the fry to see what they look like.

I've found some threads online where they did breed and hatch.

You may have trouble finding homes for the fry, as not many people want hybrids. I know I wouldn't buy them.

Female bp will bred with other male ciclids, yes. But you will end up with a fish that doesn't look like a blood parrot or a JD just like the convict looks nothing like a blood parrot when they mate.
