I have 2 mystery snails. I have noticed that they like to hitchhike on each other. especially when they are going up the side of the aquarium. One will be attached to the other. Is this normal? I mean it happens quite often.

Yikes! I have no clue how to take care of baby snails. Hope they aren't going to get preggers. Maybe they are a same sex couple :)

they lay very easy to remove bright pink eggs from above the surface.
Just make sure they don't get lost climbing out of the water to lay the eggs. Sometimes they can look for a perfect spot and climb right out the aquarium into dangerous areas where they can't get back in time before dying.

Yea I noticed they are starting to get really close to the edge of the tank. I wondered about them getting in behind the heater as well. I am keeping an eye on them so they don't get lost and I will look for the eggs as well.

Lol! Mine do that! Two different breeds, they supposedly wont mate so its not mating. Tony the Tiger snail and Orlando the Zebra snail are best buds. But Tony is very active, and Orlando, not so much. So when Tony says "Come on! Lets go!!!" and starts to speed off (Tonys a fast little bugger), Oralando will slowly follow her, and when Tony realizes her buddy cant keep up, she turns around and comes back! Then Orlando will stop and Tony will turn around in front of him/her (Tony lays eggs, so i say "her" i dont see Orlando enough to know if he/she does, so Orlando is a he/she still) and squishes down as flat against glass as possible. Orlando now climbs his/her way up Tony's shell to top and stops right at top, nowhere near actual snail body, just chillin on shell. Struggling to pull the extra weight (Orlando's a little bigger than Tony) Tony now, still fast, but at a noticeably slower rate, continues on to their new desination. Once there, the dismounting procedure is similar to mounting. Tony pulls mostly in shell to get flat against glass so its easier for Orlando to get off. She makes sure to tuck in antennas so they dont get stepped on, because this time Orlando goes straight down front of shell crawling straight forward opposite the way he/she came. Then they can eat this patch of algae together again. Ive even seen Orlando starting to try to do it with the apple snail ive recently added. He/she (apple) doesnt like hitchhikers though, and usually drops off glass when he/she (Orlando) is on and knocks Orlando off by hitting the gravel and bouncing. Mean snail...
