Otoclinus

A while ago someone had posted that their oto cats had formed a red spot around their head and then they died. I don't remember who it was and I can't find the thread.
The reason why I am posting this is because one of my otoclinus has formed that red spot around his eyes and the top of his head.
I was looking for the thread to see if there was maybe a disease that was mentioned or if anyone had any clue what it is.
Is there any medicine or precautions I can do to take care of my oto?

I don't remember that thread but, my oto's have a red tint around the gills, it is just the red of the gill showing through.

Oto's have been known to die within a week or so of purchase. You should buy the ones that have been in the store for awhile and pick the fish with round belly's
