Hi There!:sconfused:

I need help identifying the algae in my tank. My Plecos isn't eating it, and I'm not sure if it is healthy or unhealthy.

Just so you know, my tank health is in normal parameters except for alkalinity at times. I clean my tank with a gravel cleaner a few times a week, and change 20-40% of the water, when.

I tried to get a good photo, but lighting and space is limited since I had to add a breeding net. The algae is a tad brighter than is shown. It is located through the leaves, on the volcano rock.

That looks like Cyanobacteria to me. The below thread should help

If it is Cyano, then I find it strange. I have a highly lit tank! Could dark surfaces be a factor?
