How long does it take for signs of sexual dimorphism to appear on the fry?

Is it common for a male to be sterile? I bought a beautiful silver sailfin Molly and he is the horniest devil in the world. All he does all day long is mate with the females. But after the first batch they had when I bought them (they were already pregnant) they haven't had anymore fry in two months. No eyespots of babies either in the females. Could my male be sterile?

He could be sterile if he is the product of consistent inbreeding.

I have no idea. I just saw him and knew I had to have that fish.

Maybe I'll have to get a more competant male. lol

From what I've heard, exposure to too much copper will cause sterility
