Store in Baltimore Maryland

Has anyone been to the store named Aquarium Center in Baltimore Maryland? I hear it is the biggest store in Maryland. What can you tell me? THe store is a hour from me.

House of Tropicals is better, they are only 15-20 minutes apart though. so if you hit one, might as well hit the other. It is good, but both times I have gone they did not seem to have as much of the good stuff as House of Tropicals.

Do they have just the common fish or can you find Many fish that are almost unheard of in most stores?

Definitely stuff you won't see in most stores (again, more so with House of Tropicals).

House of Tropicals has a better selection of tanks & related hardware than Aquarium Center I think, livestock too. AC seems to have a better selection of food/filters/lights, etc. My wife's brother is a long-time aquarium keeper, he has been unimpressed with Aquarium Center after they changed ownership a yr or so ago.

Theres another store up on Joppa Rd IIRC that I've not tried yet.

I think Aquarium Center has changed its name to Aquarium Depot.
