Are they male, female, or a pair?

the jags are both female 8 @ 9 in long there are two plecos in there 9 @ 12 in long we are going to be moving them in a couple of months into a tank at least 200 gal .:19: and we want to add any new additions at that time to hopefully avoid aggression.

I would add them as you put them in new tanks if you get anything, or if you re arrange the whole aquarium before placing the new fish in due to the ones that are currently in there have established territories and you need them to do new ones if you add new fish to an aggressive tank.

It really comes down to what large fish you have available to you. If the LFSs in your area don't have any large cichlids or other compatible fish, it greatly limits your options.

there must be at least 100 fish stores in my area its just a matter of what fish can go in there and i was going to put them in the new tank at the same time .im just not sure what to put in with the girls .

Maybe a bichir? Severum would work, blood parrot maybe.

Just be careful when they get older, I had my jaguar in with my large pleco, oscar & synspilum, they all grew up together but then after about 1.5years she started attacking and is now in her own home. It's all trial & error I guess - good luck!

Get your self some convicts, not the flashiest color wise, but they can hold up to Jags.
