German Blue Rams

Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to tell when 2 rams pair up. I just recently added a female ram to make tank, last weekend, and a male ram today (They seem quite fond of eachother, female occasionally nips the side of him (Not fins and not harmful either). When will I be able to know when they are a pair.

You wanna know what's also weird? My rams school with my 4 Dwarf neon rainbows, even probably thinks they are one of them. lol

You will notice that a ram pair has bonded when the rams are friendly with each other to the point they dont fight. You normally see them picking and guarding an area together and soon breeding happens after that. Just make sure you see no aggression between the two. Rams are fairly easy to get to pair.
