Well im in here so yes i am new. I just got back into the aquatic scene after being out of it for about 7 years. Originally fresh now going to try salt out. My first question is for my frist fish, maybe a Lion.(not sure which species yet) But maybe 2, would any others be somewhat compatable? Ideally i would like to go clown and lion but i know i should have Anemane with the Lions correct? I'm goin to start browsing now so maybe i'll find out some more info i'm looking for.
Oh yea, i am on about 6 other forums involving other hobbies so i am used to this layout already. Thanks guys and i can't wait to learn more.

Hey, i see in your sig the 72 gal has sharks and eel in it. Thats not cramped? I'm definetly not questioning your decision or knowledge just trying to understand. Most every where i read says you nee 100 at least for sharks. I figure an eel needs room too. Am i misunderstanding? What kind of sharks...? I would LOVE to have 1 or 2 just sharks no fish.

Welcome to the A.C.!
Clown fish are thought as the anemone fish, not lions. However, not very many clowns in home aquariums actually host inside an anemone. Also, anemones are only for mature tanks with solid parameters.

Excuse me for maybe typing to much and getting mixed up. I understadn that and thank you for lettingme know they usually don't host in the Anenome in homes tanks, i never heard of that. Would clowns and Lions possibly co-exist though...? I really love Lions as i'm sure most people do. I have to talk to my friends dad today he used to have a 100+ gal with all kinds of stuff like groupers, anemones, shrimp. I'll prolly post in the salt section momentarily. Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
EDIT:
I just re-read my firstpost, i did mean to type "Shouldn't have with anemones" in reference to the lions.
