I just bought a 37 gallon fish tank. I'm kind of new at this. I was wondering if I would be able to mix angels and blood parrots together, and if so how many of each would my tank be able to hold. I am a little unsure just because I have been getting so many different answers and the last thing I would want to do is put two different types of fish in a tank and them not get along. If someone can give me some advice that would be great....thank you so much.

I have one angel with my 5 parrots and they do fine together and ignore each other. But that doesn't mean it would hold true in all cases. Parrots get along well with other parrots but angels do not get along well with other angels. I think I would stick with two parrots. Even if you end up with a spawning pair, you will not have babies so no worry there. Males are infertile.

No. They get Hikari sinking pellets. They will not eat the floating type for some reason.

I have never owned a bp but I have 2 tanks with angels. Angels will get along as long as there is not a pair in the tank. I have 5 adult angels in my 75 and they all swim together, when one of the pairs spawn they chase the others away but there is no real fighting. I would do 2 angels and 1 bp if you wanted to do both, and I wouldn't add anymore fish. Bp's can get big and it might eventually need a bigger tank.
