Are they schooling fish or not?

They like to set up their own little territories in the aquarium. By avoiding overstocking them you should avoid infighting.

I was thinking of Still maybe going with the Rasboras, but I forgot I liked Bumble Bee Gobies too. Would not mind a 10G of them too.

What do you think? What is better? What should I go with?

Bumble bee gobys are brackish, so tankmates will be hard to come across.

I was thinking only BumbleBee Gobies in the tank. Maybe 7 of them. I think it is recomanded to keep them in Brakish water, but they can live in Fresh water too, just like Mollies.

BUT the only time I keept Bumblebee Gobies was 3 of them in a 5G brakish.

They can survive in fresh water, but they will truly thrive in brackish. Its the aquarists job to provide the best conditions possible for their stock.

I would go with three glass fish and three bumble bee gobies.

Remember that there are actually 2 kinds of bumblebee gobies. There is a true freshwater variety as well as a brackish water type.

If you want a schooling fish definitely go with the rasboras. They are very peaceful too so you can easily find stuff that is compatible with them.

The tank will be 5 Rasboras

I purchased a little bumblebee goby from a LFS and it died the next day. It was about half an inch long. I also have a bumblebee cat and it is neat but I don't really recommend it due to the fact even at night with a red light, he don't come out.

My upside-down catfish didn't come out at all until I bought an LED-lit aquarium crystal from Penn Plax. Also consider moonlights, they work wonders for nocturnal fish.
