So I got a load of shrimp today. I just found a bit of shrimp, which I don't think is a cast :( casts don't have bits of white goo inside, do they? I'm looking at you, goby.

A shrimp molt is milkish clear and ghostlike, limp and hollow. A bit of dead shrimp will be solid colored, white to reddish... not unlike a tiny cocktail shrimp.

Oh no, one of my tiger shrimp got munched then :( and two of the dwarf blacks are awol. Not sure I've ever seen a cocktail shrimp, I decided when I was 3 not to eat anything with a face. I hope the remaining 6+ find a sneaky way to survive, now that someone's obviously got a taste for them.

Arg, looks like most of the rest went the same way. Expensive snacks.

what kind of fish did you have with them?

Guppies, lampeyes, hillstream loaches, sakura gobies and honey gouramis. I suspect the gobies, none of the others seem particularly bothered by things that move.
