It is amazing how much of a difference you can make buy changing a few things in your tank to better match what your corals like. The first pic is one of the long tentacle plate corals when it was in the 90 gallon. As that tank has SPS, there is a lot of flow. Took some time to find a low flow spot for this coral in the 90 gallon tank. The below pic was taken a few months ago, but that is how he looked just before he was moved into the other tank


The below two pics is the same coral two weeks after we moved him into the 120 gallon tank with a wave maker and lower flow better suited for him



He now spends about 1/2 of the day inflated something like the above pics. He will double in size when he dose this. It looks pretty cool to see

Typically, when your water parameters are good, and the flow is right, corals like this log tentical plate coral will take on more water from time to time making it a few times bigger than its skeleton
