I just got some new plants from the LFS yesterday and put them in my tank. This morning two of the leaves from the cryptocoryne had fallen off. It was like sort of a thin fibrous membrane looking stuff on the end of the stem and the leaf just hanging there. I removed the leaves and cut the stems off, I hope that was the right thing to do... What is the cause of this, how can I prevent the other leaves from coming off?

I have a 5 gallon tank, 18W Power Compact bulb (10,000K) and Seachem Black Flourite substrate. There was quite of bit of root when I get the cryptocoryne, so I tried to cover it with substrate and I place a rock on top of it.

Crypt melt. These plants don't like being move. Just cut off those that appear melted. It will be OK and new leaves appear.

Ah, OK, thanks! I think I did read about that before, but when I saw it I was worried.
