My GSP has been closed for a while now, and I'm starting to get worried...especially now that there are holes in it. Does this sound familiar to anyone? It's almost as if the coral is the sole of a shoe, and it's slowly wearing away... I really hope it's not dead. Because finals are coming up, testing all the parameters would be extremely tiresome....but I guess I have to, so I'll do it tomorrow. By the way, there are 4 HO t5's running, and it's a 20g tank.
Recently, there have been a lot of problems with the aquascape and with the powerheads. Basically, I've been rearranging things daily, and I think this stressed out the corals. So I've decided to just leave it alone for a while. Anyway, do the holes mean that the coral is dead?

Could you post a pic ?

The fact that it is closed really is not a big deal. When I moved some of mine between tanks, it stayed closed for almost 5 days.

Could it be flatworms maybe ?

It's possible. Now, I need to figure out how to keep the temperature stable.

Good catch on that Tigerbarb. Changes in temperature can also stress out corals to the point were they stay closed

Yeah. Hopefully it stops changing.
