Bubble nests are a sign of a happy Betta. It looks like he is enjoying his current abode, even though it is just temporary.

He's living the good life now! Why not build a bubble nest for you? I guess that's why I like bettas so much. :malelovies: They can actually show you they're happy.

My fish usually express their love and happiness by digging up all of my plants and making a pretty collage of floating vegetation at the top of the tank!

Umm.....how long to they usually build their bubble nests? lol I've woken up the last couple mornings with bubbles! hahaha They get taken out with the everyday small water changes i've been doing, since he's in the bowl. But the tank is going to be here tomorrow! yay!!! hahaha

They seem to go in cycles over here. Both Ketchup and Skaroley have been building their bubble nests for the past few days now. Sometimes they keep it up for a week or so and then they'll quit for a while.

One thing I've read is that they sometimes build nests before it rains in response to barametric pressure changes. I've noticed there does seem to be some correlation. We have had rain off and on for quite a few days now and their bubbling away. Lately my fish have been more accurate than the local TV weathercasters!
