Hi, how do I know if my sailfin mollies are pregnant? thanks :)
If they live [or have lived] with boys there's an excellent chance you have fry on the way.
They may be hiding out a bit & will be quite round bodied and have a gravid spot.
I couldn't find a great pic quickly but you may get the idea of the gravid spot from the guppy pic here: [Only Registered Users Can See Links.]

thank you! Do you know how I know when it's about to give birth? and is this the same for guppies? I heard somewhere with guppies you could see the eyes of the babies when they where ready to give birth?

The females gets to the point where her backside almost looks square. You will know what it means when you see it.

Yeah rich is right her gravid area will begin to look like a triangle/square. The eye thing that you heard is the Gravid spot getting darker from the development of the fry, 850R's picture is a really good picture to show the gravid spot.

A molly can and a guppy could. The females can store sperm for a long time so it could have come from the store pregnant.
