ADF's tip of nose is light tan

I went to feed my frog today and the very tip of his nose is the color of his belly.

He ate, and he swims and whatever. I just don't see him very often, so I'm not sure how long he's had it.

He's in an established 10 gal with a male betta, and has been since february.

Absolutely nothing has changed in the aquarium.

What I think may have happened, was that he got scrapped or something from either the gravel or from me feeding him.

well that's... not good

Now it's bright green and quite raised.

The frog is eating just fine and is acting normal, but I've braced for the worst.

Found him dead a few minutes ago. His entire head was bright red and he had a pretty large cut on his lip.

My mom actually cried. She had grown very attached to him.

Thats a bummer! sorry to hear that. Maybe he injured himself on something in the tank and if got infected? Do an autopsy haha, just kidding! But it really is a bummer, those things are cool. The longest I had one live though was around a year, so I dont mess with those little guys anymore.

I'm pretty sure I accidentally cut him when I fed him with tweezers.

Thats a bummer, but accidents happen. I wouldn't trip over it, just learn from it ya know. Good luck on finding a replacement!
