Ok i'm new to the killifish altogether.I got a bag of them for $3 at an auction. They are the Gardneri kind.I kept two trio and gave the rest to my father inlaw.I read both stickies and the colum on the left.Bu i still have questions.

1.What temp sould there tank be at?Do they need a heater?

2.will frozen bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp be a good food for them or are flakes fine?

3.Will they lay there eggs on anything other than a spawning mop like fake plants,if so what kind?

4.Is two males and four females ok in a ten gallon tank?

Everything i read doesn't really cover most of these questions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have never kept killies myself (though I have some Nothobranchius foerschi on the way!) but this (http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/killi/gardneri.php) and this (http://www.killi.co.uk/breedingReport/Fundulopanchax/gardneri/gardneri/) may be of some help.

Thanks for the reply.I read both links and go a better understanding on whats going on with killis.I'm going to have to do the spawning mop till i get a better light and start adding real plants.
