I've been looking at them and some of them are shaking, as if they were freezing or something. It's like they are having a seizure. They shake for a second then they go back to normal. I don't know if i should be worried. Please help me.

Probably is just something they do. My angelfish do that now and then. It might be a dominance thing. Warning, whatever.

could be shimmy. glasstapper's barb got it. go to a LFS and get a shimmy block. should cure it

its the second disease i heard about a few years back. its where the fishes nervous system gets whack and it cant stop shaking. a shimmy block is a block placed in the quarantine tank and it should fix the problem by releasing medicine. i have never had to deal with the disease before

I used to shake and shimmy but I think I called it dancing.

It's Gill Fluke, all the symptoms match.. They are breathing from 1 gill only, and they are shaking. I'm going to buy the med in an hour.

My tank looks funny. there are only 4 discus fish in it.. and the QT tank, there are 12. and its a 14 gallon.

Why not put the 12 fish in the real tank and the 4 sick fish in the QT tank - the original fish will be isolated from the sick fish and the 12 fish won't be so crowded

My dancing is more like a controlled seizure set to music.

If it looks like a shiver (like they are cold), it is breeding or mating behavior. You will see 2 get together and shiver at each other. If they flick, rub or flash off of things, that is a sign of flukes.
