Is there local fish clubs were you live ?

Typically, you can find members in these clubs that will sell fish at pretty good prices.

Cheap discus usually means very young or bad quality.
Young discus can be a pain in the butt to raise and are some times not worth the trouble, You would be better off buying good quality adults imo.

hi..well it's just an info about the price of discus in indonesia, the most expensive discus are the snake skins & leopards. Adult healthy good-looking discus will be at max. US$ 70. for the young ones will be at $ 50, the small ones are $25. not including the cargo.
