ok so i got a hold of 5 australian freshwater crabs.
since i started this hobby it has been a goal to breed a type of crab,
so it turns out in order to breed these suckers, iv'e been suggested to replicate
drought conditions in my tank and add some artificial burrows, because apparently they breed once the dry season ends...
so heres my problem how do i replicate australian drought conditions for my tank?

thanks guys

think lowering the water level would help? maybe minimal water in the tank? this is just a guess no idea really.

Raise the heat and lower the water so that the substrate is just wet? I'm just guessing here.
