Hey all. I have a golden gourami, have had him in my tank for about 2 months now. He was doing fine until I noticed him today. He seems to have what I can only seem to describe as a "busted lip". His upper lip looks large and inflamed. He's been eating regularly, this is the first day I've noticed this. He seems to hide a lot more today than usual. When first put in my 55g tank with 2 other gourami's (Paradise & Opaline) he first kind of bullied them, lately - the tables have turned. I'm wondering if this was caused by another fish, or if it is a disease that has occurred. Nothing really out of the ordinary has occurred lately, except I did loose another fish about 2 days ago - I'm not sure why - I've been fairly ill this week and haven't really been able to observe them - so I didn't notice any symptoms of the deceased fish; however, I really would like to not loose the Gourami as well. Any suggestions on what this might be and how to treat it would be wonderful! Thanks! :!:
