Hi!

I have 10 red zebra and 5 moori, and sometimes they are acting a bit strange. During daytime they suddently freeze on the bottom of the tank, or under the rocks. The can stay still like that for over 30 minutes! Why are they doing this? Is it normal or a sign of stress? Is it something that scares them? Once they start swimming again they seem to be perfectly fine. Tank size = 180 liters.

Then i maght suggest adding more caves and rocks since the fishes you mention wants a lot of hidingplaces. Adding more fish and/or some deither fish may also make the fish feel more secure.

I would also see if rhere are something else that scares them like light reflections etc.

deither fish= fish put in an aquarium just because they are lively and not easily stressed that are put in an aquarium to make the rest of the fish feel more secure. (They don't hide so it most be safe=)
