When I tap my Crayfish with a net or flip it over it does not move like it should. Usualy it jumps when I tab it. If the Crayfish is in the same spot Saturday I will get another one at $35.00. It is a Blue Knight Crayfish.

I used to have a Caryfish, it always played dead, I thought it died like 20 times. Take a picture of where it is or something so you can know where is was exactly. If it moves then yay! But if it doesnt, leave it a few days to be sure. If its dead it should float.

No it is not floating. I had it for about 5 months. I know someone that had one that died after 6 months. I did nothing with it and left it in the tank.

I bet it is molting. They look like they are dead, but they really aren't. I had a crayfish at one point and time, and it took it a whole day to molt. I'd give it a chance.

Since last night it has not moved. Something about it's eyes makes me think it is dead. Also it is not eating anything or even move when I drop food in.
Sometimes the moulted exoskeleton looks exactly like a live animal! Take it out and double check!

Only thing in the tank is Gravel and a rock. I took it out and did not move. It's dead. I will buy another tomorrow.

Well, guess it is dead. My Bamboo shrimp molt all the time and it looks exactly like them. I just go by if it is stuck to the filter with the back broke out, it is a molt.
