I have a geo steindachneri thats been holding for about a week now. I really want this batch to survive, so I've decided to strip her of most of the eggs.

I had planned on making a tube tumbler, but An easier solution is welcome since they don't look very accessible to remove any dead or unfertilized eggs. Ive read elsewhere that strainers with an airstone underneath, and corner filters both work well. Does anyone have any experience using these? Would you reccomend them? The fry will have their own 5 gallon tank, so predation is not a concern.

I would use a stainless steel strainer with an air stone underneath. be sure to run some sort of valve so you can regulate the air flow. definitely the easiest way to do it.

on another note, my female redhumps were great mothers and never swallowed their eggs/fry. incubation is only 14 days. might be worth waiting it out.

A net breeder placed near a power filter outflow or airstone works well too.
