You're watching TV and see someone fall over a cliff. All you can think about as they whiz by the rock face is "dang. I wish I had some of those rocks." Then they hit the bottom in a heap and you're looking at that pretty white sand and that big dead branch wishing it was yours.
Or watching rafters whirling down the rapids slamming into a tree trunk. Rafters are all drowning and you are looking at the stump.
LOL...I think you need to add another interest to your interests...
...something totally different from fish and tanks...
...something like, well, hmm...I'm sure there are non-fish interests...but give my a moment to come up with some...:laugh1blue:

ROFLMAO! That's a good one Hobbs!
...she said as she pondered whether or not to buy a new 20g long set up off Craig's List...
I find tank redecorating as a really good substitute for getting a bigger tank.
...she said as she pondered where to put the 10g when she buys the 20g long...
Oh and I think I'm hooked too when one of my fish is sick and I wake up in the middle of the night in terror - i just dreamed my panda cory died. He was ok...it was just a dream.

I started having fish dreams after buying my 5 gallon. The night I bought my betta I woke up out of a deep sleep, after dreaming my betta bowl was full of fry! lol Too bad my betta's a boy and that would be impossible! hahaha

You know you are hooked when you look on craigslist for a 240g, get tempted to buy it, then remind yourself that you are moving into a tiny apartment in two months and already have a 10 gallon and 65 gallon tank. Plus a 20 gallon waiting to take the 10 gallon's place.
Or when you walk into the pet store and look at the Pacus and think about the indoor pond you are going to build when you have a house. LoL

It's awful, isn't it? I was driving down the road the other day and infront of someones house was a piece of driftwood. I honestly thought for about 2 minutes of going back there at 4 AM and stealing it.
I would just love to go to jail for an old chunk of dead wood full of bugs.

Haha, I live on a lake. Imagine how that is for me... I'm always spotting rocks and wood that I want to put in the tank... And baby bass that would be great in a coldwater tank.. and trout.. maybe a catfish..
