Have this one in my firebelly toad tank. It's sitting in maybe an inch of gravel/water, the rest is all out in the air.

:ssuprised: Didn't realize they got that big. Started out as one of those small plants in a tube with a couple leaves and now it's huge; nowhere near as big as the ones I've put into my fish tanks. At certain times of the day I'll walk past and the one leaf is practically touching the top of the tank. For some reason it really took off in the past month or so.

Just thought I'd share :shappy:

Very nice plant, some types grow quite large.

Anubis would probably do well in that tank too. They're another plant that actually does better with the tops out of the water. Your plant looks nice and healthy.

(Probably spelled anubis wrong. I ususally do.) LOL

That's a great looking plant. A number of aquatic plant retailers actually grow their rhizome and rosette plants partially submerged like that. Just make sure the water doesn't get low in the tank or the plant will dry out quickly.
