I'm a bit bored so I decied to make a thread :D
Why not post how you came up with your user name? I am sure there will be some interesting replies. If this is too yuppie/hippie for you, I understand, but some of us still behave as if we were in elementry schooll. :ezpi_wink1:

Anyhow, mine was the name of my first character in Ultima Online (an online role playing game...for those who are not initiated to geekdom) back in middle school. It means nothing, it just kindof rolled off of my finger tips and I have kept it because its never taken when I need to register a name somewhere (like forums).

I've liked the name Rue for eons...and I just wanted a general chit-chat name...I post on bird and dog forums too...it's only been taken once that I know of...

Yeah my dad followed a guy out of the harley dealership after the guy had just bought a brand new road king, watched him drop it a mile down the road also. I cringe just thinking about it.

I got my user name when I was playing Half-Life online. I didn't specify a name so the server gave me this: [PNP]Happy. It just stuck. I've been using it for almost everything now.

but theres also a longer story to the evolution of how i started using the nickname. i guess its not really important though.


i use the same name on different forums/sites as well
and i tend to use the same sig/avatar so people can recognize me...

I'm a mom and Skarloey was the name my son gave to "his first fish" about a year and a half ago. Skarloey is one of the small engines from the Thomas the Tank Engine series of children's stories. My son was into trains when we got the fish.
