BJD and Angels??

Would they get along in a 55 with lots of caves and plants?

My young EBJD isn't very happy in my 80... and he's pretty dark and almost black now. (dark tank too) He just mopes around and I think he's getting picked on by the others in the tank... he's got some fin damage.

Now my Angel tank is pretty bright with lots of rocks and plants. I have 4 Angels and a BN in there now. These guys are pretty mellow too. I had them in my community tank (molly/guppy/neons/rummys) for quite a while with no issues.

Just curious if a new home would do him some good.

I know Jeta has an EBJD with an angel right now and is having success. It's not a long term thing (seeing as he sold me the angel) but it's working. A lot will depend on the EBJDs temperament. You can try him with the angels to see if it works. I wouldn't keep him in a tank where he's getting picked on, they're not the most resilient fish to start with.

I have one with angels and he is fine for now- but he's only 2 inches. I'm not sure how long it will last but so far it's working out. :)
