Good lord, sorry for all of the rapid fire posts but I hate posts that ask many different questions all at once about unrelated projects so I didn't want to do the same!

How about this light for a 55 gallon? I am learning that T5 HO bulbs are very different from what I am used to and want to make sure I don't run into a situation where I need to use CO2 to control potential algae? Really just looking for a 2wpg-type tank.

You should be able to get away without CO2 with that fixture given the fact Odyssea doesnt use single bulb reflectors. A decent fert schedule and good water circulation should keep most algae away...like any lower tech planted you will need to adapt to the idea it will have some algae tho :11:

I agree that should be workable. A little extra care and the tank should do just fine.
