this happen a few years back.

i decided to go to ontario, by car. i was going to london ontario.

now i had no map and all i knew was ontario was that way. lol

so day 2 of my drive, i was driving along, when all of the sudden this police car, come up behind me and put their light on.

so i pull over and roll my window down.

he came up and said good day and all that stuff.

then he wanted to see all my papers and stuff, i show him.

so he said, where are you going to. i said i am on my way to london ontario. he said, ok. so where are you now? i said, in quebec. he said are you sure. well i said i think so.

he said, well you not in quebec and for that matter, you are not in canada.
i said i am so in canada. he said ok, well get out and take a look at my police car behind you. so i got out and took the look at his police car.

my first words was, "oh s..., i am in trouble now."

he just laugh and said, no you not in trouble.

he said for me to follow him back to the border. so i did.

when i got to the border, i stop and thank him. and then me, him and the border guard, talk for a long while. lol

it was one of these back country border crossing. lol
