I have a cooter turtle about 4-5 inches. He is not aggressive and doesnt eat feeder fish (i put one in and its been living in there for weeks). I wanter to know if a african clawed frog can go with him?

Assume that anything that goes in with turtles will end up as food.
Your best options are fast fish, definitely not slow frogs.

Do you reccomend any fish?
Unable without knowing the size of the tank.

i personally wouldnt reccomend any fish. im not saying it cant/hasnt been done but sooner or later the fish (even if fast) may end up as food, or die due to poor water quality .

When you upgrade you may be able to try some fish.

He should be in a bigger tank now, at least a 40breeder. Ideally he should be in a 75.
Do you know the exact species of turtle? If not post a pic.
The type of fish will depend on the size tank he goes in. The best options are pond goldfish (long-bodied) and cichlids. They have to be active and hardy.

The turtle is a hieroglyphic cooter turtle.
Here is a good fish for your tank right now.

As said before, you need a bigger tank before you can even plan on any fish.
