View Full Version : Pike Cichlid Growth Rate

I got a Pike Cichlid and its 4-5 inches. The guy at the Pet store didn't know how long it would take to get full grown so please tell me. Any other info on pike cichlids would be helpful. I dont know the species but its brown and looks like a snakehead.

It would depend greatly on what species it is. They vary greatly in size.

Is there a reason that you did not even read the thread you took the pic from?

The thread that can clearly be seen to be titled "Pike Cichlid" in the background of the page where you linked the picture.

The thread where they name it: Crenicichla.

The thread where they note that "Pike Cichlid" is a generic term for several different types of predator cichlids.

The thread with photos of two different kinds of them.

The thread you should have checked out while you were grabbing the picture.

Just curious as to why you would pass right by that information, It seems extremely counterproductive.
