I'm doing a 3-day blackout to treat what looks like early stages of velvet in my 10g freshwater ... will my plants survive this? I can't move them to the other tank because I don't want to risk cross-contaminating, but if they're going to die I'd rather take them out.

I have:
madagascar lace
anubias
some frilly stuff (helpful I know)
something that looks a lot like bunched arugula or dandelion greens

I'd rather risk the plants than the fish so I've already started, I was just curious if they'd pull through.

They will probably be unhappy, but may not die. the madagascar could be the unhappiest, anubias willl be fine. Unsure on the unknown ones sorry

They should be ok for a few days without light. I've had to black out a few tanks before because of algae outbreaks, never had any major issues. Prolonged lack of light may lead to them yellowing or worse, but nothing they can't rebound from.
