After much thought and looking at my tank (along with a few gin and tonics :28: ) I decided the huge stump should go. Stopped by the LFS to check on Cardinal Tetras and they still don't have em :(
I did, however pick up some more plants! I got 2 large amazon swords and some Elodea to further accent the tank. I also picked up a smaller piece of driftwood. Fits the tank MUCH better IMO! Now I wait for my next paycheck... pressurized co2 incoming (and maybe some extra Flourite)!

I dont get what you are trying to say, are you getting rid of your old fish and getting new tetras?

I'm keeping my fish. I've been wanting some cardinals in addition for a while now but my LFS has been out of them.

The large plants add a great backdrop - the whole thing looks great - but the large plants really make the tank IMO

Thanks guys!
I've noticed that all my fish really love the little hiding places those huge swords allow. The rasboras look like they play tag through them all. The Pearl Gourami have taken residence to under the wood arch now lol.
Can't wait for that glosso and the ozelot sword to fill out... along with the elodea!

Damn looking at your tank I'm annoyed that I set my new 85gal. up with 3 large cichlids as it looks really dull and empty compared to that.

The big plants really look good. Ditching the big stump was a great idea too. I can see you're little Rasboras. They are so pretty!
