I need black mystery snails. Would love some apple snails. Anyone have an overflow they are about to cull?

Gauntlet
But I don't have snails, I just know the reference, sorry :P
Used to hear "red archer needs food badly!" every single day at work for almost 3 months. It's burned into my brain

Just a fyi for anyone that actually has snails.
I have a 20 gallon tank with a substrate filter I bought it with active media so no cycling should occur. I put 40 ghost shrimp in and they are doing great but I need some snails to eat all the food I dumped in. shrimp dont eat much and I wasnt aware of that. I am not planning on getting any fish. I just like to watch the shrimp zip about and they only hide when fish are in with them. I am also adding a pvc pipe with lava rocks hot glued to it. It looks pretty cool :) Ill post pictures after I am done.

Get some snails on-line or better still, at your local fish store (ask them the right type); read the sticky here on snails because it is great on figuring out correct type and how to control them. That said, vacuum your tank and do a good water change if you think you have too much fine food in there. Check the ammonia level for a while - shrimp are very sensitive to that! Why I'd never say this for most people, consider carbon to improve water quality if trace chemicals are used in the house (ie polish) because inverts are hypersensitive to these contaminates. :hmm3grin2orange:

Just do a water change? That usually helps me with a dirty tank....
