I need some plant Gurus to look at my set up and give me some feedback on my work. I am a beginner and I am still reading up on the skill of caring for aquarium plants. If you would please look at my aquarium journal photos and let me know if everything looks ok I would appreciate it. I also have posted a few questions in my latest post.

My journal is call "sirex's 46 gal bow"

Thank you.

I just took a look at your journal and saw a photo of your setup (here). (http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/aquariumforum/attachment.php?attachmentid=22297&d=1299294751)

Overall the setup looks great. You've got the taller plants in the back and shorter ones in the front. You might think about seperating the grass on the left a little bit more to give it some room to spread out a bit. Also, as the watersprite in the back gets larger the plant will begin to generate smaller plantlets which you can pick off and replant. Make it REALLY easy to propagate. I started off with a single plant like that and ended up with a tank like this (http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k188/drnic2032/AC%20Photos/PlattyNov09.jpg).

Nice job on the setup!

Thank you DrNic. I moved the grass a little farther apart but I did not have much room.

I hope everything will live now.
