Upgrading Convicts

My convicts are roughly 2 inches in length and was curious would they go well with a 5 inch oscar, 5 inch barramundi, 5 inch green severum and a 3 inch red tiger oscar? because theyve gotten very agressive towards my smaller community fish and ive got the seperated in a guppy breeding tank

they should not be in the community tank. but if you put them with your others cichlid they might clean your tank up for you. when they decided to mate look out others fish!! then they might be fine.

How predatpry is the barramundi? I am afraid that they might end up as food but don't really know.

Its not the barra i was waorried bout hes fine hes really placid he wont fight any fish and the convicts he wont touch them hes scared of them, it was the oscar i was worried bout


But i plan to buy a largeer heater for my largest tank and put the oscars, barra and severum in it

my second largest aquarium will have the goldfish, gouramis, catfish, ghost knife fish, danios, white clouds and black widow tetras in it

and a single tank with nothing but the two convicts

well if there is a pair
i was going to by 2 more convicts and place them in the same convict tank which i now only has my current 2 convicts because they arent breeding yet so i was going to by another 2 and see if they pair off, and then give my friend who has 2 oscars and 2 black ghosts
would that be a good idea?

Also my 2 i currently have are pretty imseperable they both live in a skull would two of the same sex do that?

Same sex might do that if there is no girl to compete over ;-)

How big are they?

Well when i was told that it would be easy to breed convicts and that i should give them multiple homes i thought that it would be easy and it was but i thought that the eggs where going to be bright but i shone a torche into the skull my convicts live in and there are about 100 brownish dark eggs are they fertile?

Most likely yes and they might be close to hatching considering their color.
