I hear that people dont see their Plecos very often and I was wondering how they survive because if you cant see them you cant feed them. How do you feed your Plecos you dont see?

Thanks,
Joshthumbs2:

I guess it depends what they feed them - if its veggies & they put them in at night & they are eaten by the morning - they know the pleco is alive somewhere thumbs2:

you dont have to see something eat, for it to be eating. i put in algae or NLS waffers at night for my rubberlip and clown to munch on. my common pleco (roughly 14inches) gets homegrow algae rocks once a week or so, and various greens throughout the week

plecos can be hidden for days.. even longer.. i have never had a problum with mine eating. if there healthy they will get hungry and eat. Most plecos are easy to care for.
