i know websites and forums used bandwidth, but how much.

if i had a 1mb file on my website, how many peoples could views that file,
before my 5GB of bandwidth, was used up.

why i ask is because i am thinging about buying a website, and i would like to get an idea of how much bandwidth, i would need.

Your 1 MB image could be downloaded 5000 times.

You might want to check if you have some webhosting included from your ISP, many ISPs do provide this service at no extra charge. (Mine happens to be very good, giving me 1 GB worth of diskspace, and no bandwith usage limitation)
