i finally have some spare time. im in banff and its nice here. i work as a cashier and in a warehouse 8.5 hours a day, 5 days a week at 12$/hour. im kinda going crazy since there are only really food and souveneir stores here. i have no games here and im gonna buy a PSP and only one store has a couple in stock and thats a radio shack.

remember i wanted to sell my tanks? yesterday, some lady called me saying she had to move and she has a 110g and a 55g with canister filters and crazy equipment i could have cheap. i almost punched someone im so mad. i cant pick it up since im gone!

i also had a scare last night. i remembered today was my day off, and was up 'til 3 am. around 9 my cousin and his friend went to the bar, and my cousins roomate went to a bar with her boyfriend. i was tired so i just stayed home. they came back at 3, and my cousin said "you know you have to work tomorrow, right?" i almost freaked out! he was kidding, and i thought if i did i would only get 3 hours sleep.

regarding the clock, apparently i got a good deal. 30$ is a unbelievable bargain. i had a pro look at it and he said that in the 1850's it would sell for 2-3$ and now the clock is worth 300$. if i can get a glass cover for it, i can get 350$

i went to a freaky spot with my cousin too. since banff is surrounded by mountains, theres tons of trails. we drove up to a huge mountain and its covered in trees. the freaky part is theres a spot called "bald patch" its a circle where no trees grow, only grass. he emptied his old dogs ashes there too. after, we saw a wild bear.

i should be able to really log in more in a few days. i cant believe how many unread topics gather up in 5 days!

i am so mad about the 110g. hood, 3 canister filters, lights, gravel, stand, and all that for cheap.

the funniest thing was my cousins friend came home drunk. he leaned against the fridge for a while then he wanted pizza last night. at 3am, thats pretty much impossible. we went to eat at some expensive bar today and he had another drink.

the worst thing is i work with mainly koreans and japanese. i cannot understand one thing they say. saturday a korean worker said "fold pant nice" and i was like "you want rice?" i gave up and went back to work at the till. its the one in the basement and i just sit there doing nothing, and the odd person comes down. for 8.5 hours of work you get a 15 min break and hour lunch.

im still going for another salt tank when i get back august. i might buy another tank instead if a 20g long and get a 40g long from superpet for 70$

just for the heck of it i said how about 150$ for all the 110g stuff and she said yes. im mad i cant get it but its not like its the only 110g in the world. i can get one later. she said 60$ for a complete 55g set

im leaning for a 40g long salt now. i just need lights. i have a spare skimmer etc. i just might upgrade canister filters for the tank.

How long are you going to be in Banff for Cocoa? It's only about a 4 hour drive for me, maybe I'll pop by for lunch (you're buying .... :ezpi_wink1: )

lol, food here is expensive.

i might make my 55g salt. its lightly stocked so i can make a quick conversion. having a 55g would allow me to have yellow tangs and cooler salt fish. im starting to like saltwater better than freshwater now.

Didn't you used to have a huge reef tank? Or am I starting to confuse postings?

I think he had a small reef tank. Maybe you're thinking of Jeffs99dimes.

so far in my life i had a old 10g reef that a mishap happened to and all animals died, and now i have a 33g salt. im gonna buy a 55g salt now so i can have yellow tangs. i can get a cheap 55g vs. the 20g long.

i think it was jeff that had the large reef
