Has anyone ever heard of or bought anything from this site? They seem like they have great prices, but I'm wondering about the quality of their tanks. I'm hoping that they're alright, because I'm already mentally planning on a couple things from there!

You're right....they do have some pretty good prices. However, the shipping sounds like it would kill your wallet.

I've seen them discussed on another site and good things were said about the tanks.

I don't know - I want to get their 170 gallon, 48" wide tank, but they don't have the "Buy Online" option on this one. I looked at a couple other tanks with a local pickup in the Chicago area, and they were all under $100. That would mean I could get a 170 gallon tank for about $650. That's pretty good, right?

You are right, I find that most places charge an arm and a leg for stuff even if the item is cheaper you make up for the cost in the long run. What is stupid is it goes by price so you could want a $10 item and it's going to cost you $10 to ship.

I bought my 300 gallon tank from glasscages. No complaints on the tank but I found them kind of rude and uncaring. They have a deal were they go to shows and will delivery your tank at a show they are attending for a small fee, it worked out great for me. I had to travel an hour to pick it up. See if they are attending any shows in your area.

I've been to the site and they do have good prices but the shipping more than makes up for it. They cost a mint to ship.

I would absolutely love to live in alaska, never mind the shipping cost of my tanks (did I mention how I only buy german tanks? lol) :D

Look for a tank at a fish store, they are much cheaper and you dont have to pay for shipping, they deliver for free and if it breaks you can even return it.
