so my regular forum crashes to much so I have come else where. I hope to get more info and some different points of view. I recently had a sick (kind of) angel fish. It had a red stripe running down its back and up into the pectorial fin. After 24hrs it went away 2 days later i fed it a few freeze dried blood worms and now its back only slightly. Im thinking it may be the food. My ammonia level 0 so are nitrites and nitrates. So ne way. HI,

unless your tank is heavily planted with a light bioload your nitrates should never be 0, unless your tank is cycling. without a picture i cant tell but ammonia burns (i know you said your ammonia is 0) can appear as a "stripe" or reddness that shouldnt be there.
