We don't have a pet smart, the closest is 2 1/2 hours away.

That's too bad for you.

Troy, if you dont have anything positive to add to a post, dont reply.

If you are refering to the "rubber lipped" pleco (Chaestoma Milesi), they are fairly common around here. I have one in my 55, but you would never know it, becuase he hides all of the time. He is a good clean up crew, but i wish i saw him more often, because he has some pretty bossly looking patterns.

Sometimes a drive for fish is worth it. I try and make a day of it whenever I have to head out of my immediate town. If I up to Baltimore for the fish shops, I go to the Baltimore Aquarium too. If I have to go to D.C. for school, I also go to the D.C. Aquarium, National Zoo, maybe a museum or IMAX.

Seeing as I am only 16, that is hard. I work all the time and I have football. Maybe on a trip to see family or I have someone going there then I will have them pick me one up when they are fixing to come back.

...just watch your common names...they're 'rubber-lipped'...

...I like them...but I'm still holding out for a bristlenose...

I too got my rubber lip from petsmart. He is so funny always trying to hide from me under leaves that are on the glass.

These a great little plecos, I think they may get to a measly 5" :)

Which, Rue? Exotic Finds has a bunch of plecos, including several species of bristlenose, if you don't mind mail order. I have six Ancistrus claro from there. They top out at three inches, so its easy to keep a group in a decent-sized tank (mine are in a 75 planted). Cute little guys. They've bred a couple times (cave breeders) in the 3 years I've had them.
Rats, just checked. EF is no more :( What a drag.
