Search function settings?

Is there any way to change the settings for the search function? Say I want to search for something like "safest way to lower ph," but it takes out most of the words saying they're too short. Since "pH" is the key word there, it completely defeats the purpose of the search. Not sure if this can be changed or if it's a set part of the board's code?

I dunno, I've run into the same problem before as well. Usually I just give up..lol
